Our Foundational Genetic Panel looks at how your genes may shape nutrition, metabolism, brain health, mood, and aging. Angie Cundiff-Roy, NP, uses your results to personalize your care, in Russell Springs or by telehealth anywhere in Kentucky.
What the Foundational Genetic Panel is
It's a provider-directed genetic screening test. Instead of guessing which diet, supplements, or lifestyle changes fit you, we look at small, common variations in your genes (called SNPs) that are known to influence key body systems.
Your results don't diagnose disease. They give us another layer of information, alongside your history, symptoms, and labs, so your plan fits your biology.
Nutrition
How you may process and use key nutrients.
Metabolism
Tendencies that affect weight, energy, and blood sugar.
Cognitive function
Genetic factors tied to focus, memory, and brain health.
Mental wellness
Patterns that can influence mood and stress response.
Aging
Pathways connected to how your body ages over time.
How your results are reported
Each trait is placed on a simple three-level scale. Some traits show your risk for less favorable outcomes; others show your propensity toward helpful traits. The score reflects how your gene variants add up together, not any single gene on its own.
Lower
Fewer variants pointing toward the trait
Medium
A moderate combined effect
Higher
More variants pointing toward the trait
